Greven, May 27, 2010 - With immediate effect, the Fiege Group, logistics provider based in Greven, will be offering eCommerce Fulfilment Services from a single source. Titled "Fiege eFulfilment", modular and standardised as well as customised solutions for Webshop, payments, logistics and customer services will be realised.
"eFulfilment" plays an ever-growing role in the world of logistics. More and more customers operating withing stationary logistics are considering multi-channel operations and use the "all-in-one carefree package" from the logistics provider, Fiege. Fiege advises its customers on the optimum Web presentation and handles the setting up and operation of the Website, as well as linking and handling all supply chain services, financial services and call centre services.
The individual part services can be requested by the customer as a modular concept and are handled either in parts or as a whole by Fiege. Fiege offers eFulfilment services throughout the entire European sector with its own, but also with partnering structures. This includes sea and air cargo for the procurement of goods; transport and warehousing to consolidate goods, as well as dispatch and two-man handling structures to distribute the goods to end consumers.
Fiege has already successfully implemented fulfilment solutions for customers from the eCommerce field, such as lately MediaMarkt-Saturn in the Netherlands and Austria, and is now expanding this approach on a Europe-wide scale.
Fiege will be presenting its new concept at the Mail Order World congress at the Rhine-Main Halls in Wiesbaden in September 2010, as well as at the Europäische Online-Handelskongress in Berlin in October. /#
